Cabin in the North Woods || Factions - Background Paintins

Eight of Thirty-Five BGs done for my new short. I'm chasing the style of Pulp Novel covers. The challenge for me is to not get hung up on detailing everything. I need to let what is not important devolve into brushstrokes, hinted at instead of solidified. That is my Camera Depth of Field.

The Paintings are being done in photoshop with a Blender 3D model as reference. For some shots the painting is projected back onto the 3d model. Every painting starts with the same orange underpainting that made with casein on hot press watercolor paper, then scanned.
